The inspiration for this quilt was the idea of old stone carvings covered with growth which is emphasized with the quilting of leaves and vines around the edges. This quilt is also a further example of teh layered effect I have been working in several of my quilts using multiple layers of sheers over base images.

This quilt was displayed in the Charlotte Art League member show in September of 2007.  It was also juried into the Associate of Pacific Northwest Quilters semi annual quilt show in 2008.
